CABIN GETAWAY

March 12 - 15

3 Bedrooms, 3.5 Bath - Sleeps 6-9

(Private Pool (Pool closed for the season), Hot Tub, & Sauna)

Within walking distance to historic downtown Hot Springs, the Quapaw-Historic neighborhood contains a wealth of architectural styles. But, for sheer drama, all roads lead to Prospect Avenue and to this ultramodern Home. This home was originally built in 1987 and it soars four gravity-defying stories into the sky up the side of West Mountain. The ground floor facing the street overlooks a swimming pool with a roomy deck and waterfall flows down the steep hillside past colorful crepe myrtles and wildflowers. Thanks to floor-to-ceiling walls of windows and a sweep, spare, industrial-style “floating staircase,” the great outdoors takes center stage. The ground floor houses a stylish, comfortable guest suite, 3rd Bedroom & access to the pool. Opposite the guest suite, includes a game area and pool table. As you approach the main living area, you walk into the great room, dining area, and kitchen, with balconies on either side offering generous entertaining space. On the main living floor, there is a convenient office (with free WI-FI, & satellite) washer/dryer, & half bath. As you take the next flight of stairs you step into the master suite. A king size bed is set into the very center of the room and bordered by twin chaise lounges. Please note this is a loft-style room, while the glass balcony’s railings enable one to peer over and down into the great room far below it also allows for a frame-less view of the beautiful sunrise peeking out from the treetops. But, we are not to the tip-top of the house yet – as we ascend to what can only be described as “the eagle's nest”. You emerge from the staircase to find a loft with a twin bed under curving skylights, with an adjoining bath, as well as a sauna room paneled in red cedar, & a wet bar. A door leads out to the topmost deck. This is the favorite place to be at night, with a view that stretches all the way from downtown Hot Springs to the distant mountain range, it’s easy to see why.

We would like to disclose that this home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and we strive to respect the wishes of the local homeowners. We will not be able to allow loud music of late night parties. If our occupancy rules and noise restrictions are not followed guests will be asked to leave immediately and there will be no refund issued for the duration of your stay. Thank you for understanding and respecting those around us. Occupancy and house rules are strictly enforced.

UPDATE: 9-11-2020 OUR POOL IS CLOSED FOR THE SEASON!

The hot tub remains open for our guests. We have also changed the outdoor area to accommodate cooler weather. We have added a fire pit (Fire wood not provided) complete with comfy lounge chairs in addition to the many amenities the house has to offer.
